Download Instructions
Carefully follow these three steps:
- Print this page right now. The instructions below will help you print perfect petitions. YOU MUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY.
- Download and print the petition.
Petition Downloading and Printing Instructions:
 Download the Petition.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT OPEN THE PETITION PDF FILES FROM WITHIN YOUR WEB BROWSER. DOWNLOAD THEM DIRECTLY TO YOUR DESKTOP FIRST.
Windows Users:
- Download the Petition to your desktop first. Right-click the petition link below. Select 'Save Target As' or 'Save Link Target As' or similar and save the PDF file to your desktop.

Note: The Petition Page may take a minute or two to download if you have a dial-up internet connection.
- If the petition hasn't automatically opened, locate the file on your desktop and double-click it. The file opens in Adobe® Reader® or Acrobat® Reader®.
- Continue to step 2 below.

Macintosh Users:
- Download the Petition to your desktop first. While pressing the control key on your keyboard, click the download link below. Select 'Download Link To Disk' or 'Save Link Target As' or similar and save the PDF file to your desktop.

- If the petition hasn't automatically opened, locate the file on your desktop and double-click it. The file may open in Adobe® Reader® or Preview.
- Continue to step 2 below.

Set your printer and print the Petition . You must follow our method below, not any other method you may have used in the past. |
Windows Users:
- Go to the 'File' menu and select 'Print.' The Print Dialog Box opens.
- Click the 'Properties' button. The Properties Dialog Box opens.
- In the 'Paper Size' menu select letter' Click 'OK.' The Preview graphic in the Print Dialog Box should show an 8.5 x 11 in page.
- Load a blank sheet of white paper into your printer.
- Click the 'OK' button in the Print Dialog Box to begin printing.

Macintosh Users:
- Go the 'File' menu and select 'Page Setup.' The 'Page Setup' Dialog Sheet appears.
- In the 'Paper Size' or 'Paper' menu select 'Letter.' The dimension will be 8.50 x 11.0 inches. Be sure the Scale is set to 100%. Click 'OK.'
- Load a blank sheet of white paper into your printer.
- Go back to the 'File' menu and select 'Print.' The Print Dialog Sheet appears. Click 'Print' to begin printing.

 VERY IMPORTANT: INSPECT YOUR PRINT JOB.
There is a one -inch top of page and half-inch bottom of page margin
If there is noticeable empty space (approximately a one-inch margin on the sides and/or a 2.5-inch margin at the bottom of either page), you have printed it wrong.
If this happens recheck your printer settings, and start over. |
